A bit about Lynton Equestrian,

I have over 30 years experience and teach all levels, ages and abilities for flatwork, jumping and rider biomechanics. I deliver Pony Stars, Challenge Awards, Leadership Awards and am also a Ride Safe Trainer. I provide tutition and coaching towards BHS Complete Horsemanship Stages 1 and 2. (BHS Career Pathways)

I am also an EQ Bands Expert Coach and Stockist, and trained with Dee So'oialo at the Dynamic Performance Hub.

I hold clinics in various locations for EQ Bands and also coach for Retraining of Racehorses and the Pony Club, as an accredited coach.

Willing to travel for individuals and groups.

I firmly believe that when you book a lesson, it is yours not the coaches. I work with you, all my lessons are rider led.

Happy to work with anyone, including your normal coaches, to bring out the best in you and your horse.

I own two of my own horses, who I pamper and cuddle, we have regular lessons in both flat and jump, there is no point in me coaching you if I am not up to date with my riding skills etc, Ocasionally when work allows I compete in both showjumping and dressage, and am no stranger to nerves or confidence flying out the window, I am a normal person just like you and have probably experienced the same things you are going through.

There is always a way.

What I do as a Coach

I coach riders and horses of all levels and abilities. I teach jumping from the beginner upwards and can help with confidence at all levels. I firmly believe that it's your lesson and not mine. All lessons are client/rider lead, you're in charge of your lesson not me.

Confidence is so easy to lose and so hard to regain. Lessons are built around maintaining the level of confidence you have and building on that confidence bit by bit. And having a solid foundation or point at which if anything goes wrong you don't have to start right at the beginning again you go back to what you're good at and gain confidence from that point.

I teach flat (dressage), how to ride in a dressage arena, accuracy, rhythm etc. Along with positional work with the EQ Bands to improve your position and strength to help your horse move more freely under you.

Jump Lessons can start at one pole on the floor and go upwards. Gridwork ,poles, single fences ie water trays and walls to oxers and uprights if you have a particular problem. Cross Country and Arena Eventing coaching are all available to, from the small, simple fences to larger more technical ones.

Up to date with all training and CPD (Continuing Professional Development):
